The North American Packaging Association is pleased to announce the Gold and Excellence Award winners in its annual Packaging Competition and Showcase. Thirty-Five Gold Awards and Seventy-Two Excellence Awards were bestowed upon the showcase competition’s Best–of–the Best packaging submissions. Hundreds of entries were submitted and the judging panel evaluated each entry on such criteria as marketing superiority, innovation, environmental sensitivity, sales communication, craftsmanship, and consumer convenience.

NAPA Showcase Competition

NAPA’S Annual Packaging Competition recognizes excellence and creativity in the packaging industry and is the foremost packaging competition in the rigid box and folding carton industries. Entries in the 2009 competition represent the Best–of–the–Best and are the result of an industry that is continuously innovating. Winning an award in NAPA’s Competition is a mark of excellence in the packaging field and recognition of superior achievement in the paperboard packaging industry. The coveted Best of Show Awards will be announced at the NAPA Annual Meeting in Mont Tremblant, Quebec on June 20, 2009.
