The Association represents two main suppliers of Paperboard Packaging. Namely Folding Carton Converters and Rigid (Set-Up) Box Manufacturers.

A Folding Carton is a thin, lightweight container used to package cereals, detergents, tissues and a myriad of other products. It is made from a paperboard raw material called boxboard or paperboard. Shipped in a flat state, it is erected, formed, filled and sealed when the product is packaged.

A Rigid or Set-Up Box is made using boxboard materials and wrapped in decorative or specialty paper. It is shipped in an erect state and is only filled and sealed when the product is packaged. Often used as a gift box and characterized by a telescoping top and bottom unit, this box is an ideal and strong package for such products as confections, cosmetics and high end retail consumer goods.
